Who we are
We started from personal experiences involving my wife's service dog. Imitation service dogs acting out in public, uninformed store and restaurant associates drove us to educate. It did not take before we were working with law enforcement, veterans and creating therapy dog teams. Being a resource to out elected officials and business leaders along the way. We started this journey in 2015 and we are quickly becoming the states authority on all things related to working dogs!

WE WORK CLOSELY WITH OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS
Working Dogs Oregon has brought several Bill's to the Oregon Legislature. From punishing fake service dog handlers to recognizing dogs who have stood out in their work. You can bet that WDO will be at it again for the next legislstive session passing important Bill's.
POLICE K9 SCHOLARSHIP
We give police departments K9's through yearly scholarships to agencies who otherwise couldn't afford a K9 team

Have an event or just need to hug on a dog? Reach out to us and find out if one of our Therapy dog teams can come to your event, school, work place or other location. Our dog teams love to interact with people!
EDUCATION & OUTREACH
Teaching ADA compliance to business and industry. We have a comprehensive program that will teach your rights and the rights of disabled individuals who require the use of Service dogs and how that applies to your business, association or school. We present this course in person or by zoom. Everyone who takes this course will be given a certificate of completion.
